No code?!
I got a reman on my computer (Its sitting on my lap as i type) and it saying nothing like the codes im seeing.
Codes i see:
# - 8-4269
Cal. Code - 0900MG
On back (faces driver) there is a white sticker, it says "Dont remove" in 5 languages. And it also says "Remanufactured" in two lang's.
Also 2 small numbers on that sticker:
MSA0154
911237-78
This really makes me mad
Any ideas guys?

On the plastic connecter, there is something "molded" in
GTE4 and theN a small B
Another Add:
Inside connector on Red rubber seal:
E4AB-14A297-AB

None of those are a standard Ford PCM calibration code. The calibration code is 0900MG and is useless so far as adding an aftermarket chip. If we could get the computer to read it there's a chance a program can be produced but my experience is that you'll need to get a PCM with real Ford code in it.

Well its a FORD PCM, its says FORD stamped in it and the sticker says something about it being "Rem'ed" by a ISO9000 manufacturer.
I know that he did (my step-dad) get it replaced, lets see.... at 112,000 so its been about 28000 miles with this new computer.
So I would have to send it in, and it sounded like there is no guarantee you could get a chip for it?

99% of the reman'd Ford PCMs say Ford on them. That doesn't mean it has Ford's code in the EEPROM. If it did, it would have a Ford calibration code on it since the calibration code sticker is required by law.
If you do a search on Google there are ton of used ECU dealers. We get ours from a company that sells used, non-reman'd ecus. This assures us that the code is Ford's code.

Please don't bump threads to get my attention. If I don't answer immediately its because I can't answer immediately. I answer all of them when time allows. Ohh its not that I was bumping the threads, i was excited to find that ECC mod. for so cheap.
My posts are at least a few hours apart.
So, i assume it isnt that code.
And i also assume im also "SOL", or is there some way to find my original code?
And thanks again, for all the help, even if you didnt say what you just did i know that your REALLY busy from reading all your other posts.

Sorry for the delay... my last response was tongue in cheek humor, no anger or anything like that 
. I took a desperately need Motorhaven vacation during the holiday.
Here's what we can do.... call your Ford dealer and give them the truck's VIN number. They can give you the original calibration code. There's a chance the aftermarket computer has that code in it. We can send a chip based on the original calibration and its a 50/50 chance it'll work. If it doesn't we'll refund your purchase and you'll just be out about $8 for shipping.
