Maximum tire size
They don't rub on your inner fender at lock? How much clearance is between your tire and fender well when turned to lock?
My 35's fit on my truck with no lift but if I was turning and hit a bump at the same time I could hear the tire getting into the inner well, but my 35's are 12.50s

Maximum tire size
I just put 285/75 r16 tires on my 5.4 Ex. The clearance is close but no rub. i don't think 305 would fit without a rub on the bump and turn, without a lift kit. These tires are 2.5 inches taller than my old worn 265s. so my X site about 1.5 inches higher..
