Did you use the Tabco one piece Cab Mounts? I like the rest of their stuff but went with the Dennis Carpenter Ford style mounts. But man, this is really an amazing save for this truck.
Yes I would prefer the DC mounts but they are twice the price plus extra shipping. I figured I would give them a try for $30. They fit good and are made out of heavy gauge metal like the rest of the tabco panels. I ordered every thing from tabco for $400 delivered.
Make a good mud bog truck. Take it to Elizabeth City the proving grounds. I think that two wheel drive rear will have different ratio than the 4x4 rear had.
Fan was already on water pump . Bow pulled one bolt out of radiator support . We swung it out front of truck . He mounted radiator with fan shroud attached. We swung whole deal back put other core support bolt in . Took two min . I remember putting radiator in fighting it the up and down method. Then trying to get fan bolts into water pump . Then say oh I need to put fan shroud on first . About a hour or two if I am lucky. Man it’s nice with fenders off. It helps that it’s not Bow’s first rodeo, makes these builds look easy .
