It will plug in to factory connector on my 68 and 69. At some point ford switched to different connector my 71 has the later style. I have a parts truck that I cut pig tail out of for cluster. Most of the wire colors matched, I bench tested every thing before I installed it in truck. I had to repair fuel gauge and gave it a good cleaning. I use a Milwaukee m12 battery for power supply.
Man that thing is just Bitchin. I've been looking for a service bed for a while. No luck yet , but you never know. Do I need one? Not really but they are just to cool and something where I live you don't see that often.
Yes I would prefer the DC mounts but they are twice the price plus extra shipping. I figured I would give them a try for $30. They fit good and are made out of heavy gauge metal like the rest of the tabco panels. I ordered every thing from tabco for $400 delivered.
