If i understand well. It’s better to use a thick on instead of a thin one ?

Just a caution. The thicker the carb base gasket, the easier it is to bend, break, crack the carb base with the nut tightening. Look for those with inserts at the bolt holes if going thick, they are intended to limit distortion. Never just stack plain thin gaskets!

I have for near 50 years now used plain old bearing grease on my carb to intake gasket surfaces ... it seals, keeps them pliable, and no gasket pealing sticking.

A carburetor leaking fuel at the base? Should only happen ... if it happens ... at rest with engine off if someone pumps the gas pedal ... or manually operates the linkage like when adjusting linkage.

The thick are OK if they have the limiting crush corner fillers in them, but if not they can be real trouble.

I favor thin and always grease them.

It is your transmission kickdown. It should go in the blue circle, and a small cir-clip to hold it on. It downshifts your transmission when you put the throttle down hard.
