I'm replacing the fuel pump and tank in an 87 5.0 L F150. I took out the back tank, everything went fine, but taking out the front pump, part of the 'nipple,' for lack of a better word, of the fuel pump broke off in the fuel line. It was rusted right through, and I guess it's rusted into the plastic line.

Can I get lengths of this line anywhere to replace it if I just cut it off? Or any ideas how to get this thing out? Thanks!
I'm betting that if you take the duckbill clamp out of the fitting, you should be able to remove the remainder of the fuel pump nipple with some judicious and careful twisting, thereby salvaging the fitting.
OTOH, you should be able to find a repair kit for that particular fitting at just about any parts store.
