I tried really hard to find info about markings on the nozzle from google but wasn’t coming up with anything. I have this injector I pulled out of a salvage engine that I installed in my truck. It failed the solenoid test so I swapped in a spare injector. Truck runs fine but it smokes on acceleration more than it use to with the old engine. I’m wondering if this “01” mark on the nozzle might be indicative of an oversized nozzle or something. Anyone seen a mark like this before?
I know it’s a DTech reman “version 4” for what that’s worth. Couldn’t find anything about them selling oversized injectors but I think people can swap nozzles. I don’t know. Any thoughts?
