Ok, I gave it a shot with Forscan no joy. There is a calibration link in Forscan for the tailgate camera, but not the CHMSL camera. I tried the tailgate camera calibration, which was listed as backup camera calibration, but it didn't work. So no guidance lines or zoom for now and Im still looking for the fix. Hopefully, it's with Forscan and I don't have to take it to the dealer. If anyone has the answer please share.

Maybe try texting the number on that card that came with the camera. They may be able to give some direction. They were pretty fast responding when I texted them.
Any updates on getting the dashed lines and + button to work on the new camera?
Not yet. I'm working with Zoodad on this, he thinks he might have a line on the procedure. So far I have tried IPMB reboot I also tried the BDYCM local interconnect network calibration, the BDYCCM reboot, the BDYCM rearview camera calibration, and the BDYCM enhanced exterior lighting calibration. Just for good measure I also tried IPMA module reboot and IPMA lane departure warning system calibration. None of these worked.
Well finally i found ppl that have similar problems. Mine is also acting up - cargo camera not working then freezes all camera system (including backup camera). However if I just Reverse, then backup camera (and 360) also works. So i know it's the cargo camera problem. Mine is a 2022 F-250 but it has more than 36k miles. I really want to get it fixed because it's annoying but Ford might want $$$$, I am kinda pissed now.
I indeed called a Ford dealer and they told me Ford is working on a solution on the super duties camera issues and there might be some bulletin but who knows.
When mine started acting up I scoured the internet looking for help. This was the only place I found. Some of us have just ordered a new CHSML camera and replaced them ourselves but we haven't got the dash lines and + button to work yet. The picture is nice and the cameras seem to be working again as it should. I'm confident we'll soon have the details figured out and all will be back up and good again.
Hang out and let us know your findings. I'm sure someone will try and help out if possible.
Ok so here is where we're at with the CHMSL bed camera. If it is not working and freezes all the other cameras especially when it gets hot replacing it fixes the issue. The only problem is when you replace the camera you lose the dotted guidance lines and zoom. The only way currently to get them back is with an IPMB calibration using FDRS. I had the privilege of meeting the great and powerful Zoodad today and he was kind enough to use his FDRS cable and subscription to not only fix my bed camera but also updated all the modules on my truck. He's a great guy and told me that he is sending Forscan a request to see if they will add the required IPMB calibration to the service menu which will allow us to correct this with Forscan after the camera replacement. Thanks again Zoodad for all your help and your dedication to this Forum.

Congrats for all the hard work and for sharing the knowledge.

Is this something that us common folk would need to head towards the dealership to get done? I'll search those acronyms as I'm not familiar with them.
Also curious what the "module update" will do? Is this something that could be asked for at a dealership the next time I need to go in for something I can't do myself?

Thanks again...much appreciate you input.
You can do this yourself, but it will cost a few bucks. You can buy a Mongoose cable from Amazon, which is currently almost $600.https://a.co/d/0k0c3CM Then, get a temporary two-day FDRS license from Ford which is another $50.You can then update all the modules on your truck, and do the IPMB calibration to fix the CHMSL camera zoom and guidance lines. There is a cheaper option, Zoodad has a cable that he rents out and you could PM him and inquire about price and availability. The last option would be to go to Ford to have them fix the camera which you might be able to get done under warranty if your truck still qualifies. Ford won't update any of the modules on your truck under warranty unless it corrects a current warranty issue. Updating the modules may or may not change things. The updates from Ford are to correct software/hardware issues that have happened on certain vehicles. It's like getting a software update for your home PC or phone.
My 2021 f350 xlt srw without the 360 cam just a tailgate backup cam, is doing the blue screen with the dealer pop up. Took it in with hopes that the alpha warranty I got with it would cover the issue. Got a call a day or so after I dropped it off saying its a wiring issue with the power feed to the camera. They said the wiring isnt covered and that it will be slightly lunder 1000$ to replace the wire. Is it just me or does this sound ridiculous? I am going to pick it up today with a 250$ diagnostics charge and just gonna go without the cam for now. Are there any cheaper fixes or has anyone discovered why this is happening especially to the tailgate cams?

This sounds like a different issue than we are discussing here. I remember reading a couple of threads on this, and the fix was cleaning and repairing the connector that goes to the tailgate camera which is located I believe on the driver's side rear inside hitch mounting rail. It gets water in it and corrodes the connector pins. Here is one thread: Systems freaking out - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums I also read a thread talking about a bad radio speaker causing a similar camera issue..
i have a similar issue for my 22'. The cargo camera (on the right panel) works 50% of the time, depends on what speed i'm driving. If i mis-clicked it at low speed (say <5mph) it will show nothing, then when i go to reverse, my screen goes black. It resets after I re-start the truck. Looking for a solution here.
