So with the compressor, evaporator, condenser, dryer its $420. I can't find a line kit on RockAuto. When I google a line kit I see one hose, or a kit that isn't for my truck. Does anyone have a kit they can recommend that they have used?

Even if I replace the parts I’ve said, will I have problems from running it as is?

You might not have any trouble
That was not a ton of debris on the orifice screen
Most techs would have made the system run without even checking the orifice
You should do that and see how the performance is
It may be just fine for quite a while
It may plug up the orifice and quit working
Either way, I'd get the system running and see what's up

My times buying AC lines they were never in a kit. You had to buy them separate. Depending on how the lines connect to he compressor ( compressor may have manifold with 2 lines attached) or may have manifold where the 2 lines screw or quick connect to the manifold plumbing.

Should be 3 lines on your ac system

No Dye in them looking at label.

Why would you be buying them high priced cans with the hose on it? You going to be renting a vacuum pump and gauges to pull vacuum on system. Just buy you a R 134a piercing tap for the cans. 2 cans of R-134a and 1 can R134A with UV dye. Do not forget your black light to look for the leaks.

I need to fill it again with dye and refrigerant, so that way I can let it leak again. And then I can trace the leak. Because I’ve hosed off the engine bay everywhere, so there isn’t gonna be any uv dye left.

This thing and cheap cans will work?

Yes that valve and the cheap cans will work for what you wanting to do. You only need 1 can with the dye.

Well I do not understand your theory.

You got to pull a vacuum on it before you can fill it with 134. If you pull a vacuum and it leaks down that is when you fix the leak. If you replace all your O rings and seals before you pull vacuum you only have a couple more places that could leak. You EVAP core,Condenser, compressor seal, or around the service ports and pressure switch. You should put new schrader valve in service ports anyway.

Just some advice, take it or leave it as you will, but if you're going to use dye, and you don't seem to be able to find the leak, there's a good chance it's the evap core that is the culprit. I just changed one in my 255k mile 1995 F-150 and I also replaced one in my previous 1999 F-250 SuperDuty with 60k miles...only way I found them was to use a sniffer (I got the Hobo Freight one and it's found both leaks)...if you use dye, and the leak is in the core, you're going to have to pull the blower motor and shine the light in there.

Just buy a cheap set of gauges?
Get your freon from walmart
Dye and oil from anywhere
That is cheaper than buying those cans with the built in gauge IMO
And then you have the gauge set for next time

When I get the tool to pull a vacuum on the system, is there a way to track the leak while the vacuum pump is putting it under a vacuum? I'll order the O ring kit as well, I would like to avoid having to mess with those high pressure clamps on the hoses, how can I narrow it down if it is those or not before I take those hoses off to replace the o rings (if there is any there I haven't messed with those style hose connections before)? Ill replace all the o rings on the lines with the nuts to hold them on and in the office tube, but there are a lot more o rings than those where do the rest go? Are they including o rings for internal components and ill have extra, I haven't pulled every hose off, I just may overestimating the amount of o rings in the kit based off of the picture and they'll go faster than I think when I start replacing them.

Your system is empty. Why don't you pressure test the system that way you can soap the hoses and check for leaks. My guess if it was oil at the crimp it could be leaking.

You nay get lucky and be able to hear the leak with a vacuum on the system but I doubt it.

Best way to look for a leak would be a pressure test and a spray bottle with water and dish soap.
Pressurize the system using you air compressor since it is empty anyway. Squirt soapy solution on all your fittings and joints look for bubbles. Also spray your condenser down to look for leaks.

You are way overthinking this ac stuff. Making my head hurt. Pull a vacuum check for leaks. If leaks are noted from vacuum test pressure test to find leaks. Repair leaks be it O ring,line,condenser,Evap.,compressor. Re do vacuum test if it passes the vacuum test for no leaks. Connect vacuum pump come back 24 hrs later and recharge system enjoy cold air.

I’ll pressure test it, sorry I tend to do that it’s kinda my specialty overthinking stuff 🤣.

Which suction line do I want? FOUR SEASONS or GDP?
If I have to check something what do I check to tell?
