This video shows the EBP sensor. I am looking for the turbo boost pressure sensor . Throwing code P0237. I have read several articles describing this sensor, and I even found a price for one, but I can’t find the location. People frequently mention the MAP sensor. Thank you for your consideration.
Monday I got a sudden and unexpected P0237, and no boost at all. 07 F250 six liter. I knew I had some rodent damage, along with the sticks, leaves and pine needles they drag in. 3 hours with the shop vac, removed the airbox, both batteries and degas bottle to allow access. Then I started a systematic inspection looking for frayed wires. Retaped about a dozen wires all over the engine, and found and repaired 3 severed wires in the big harness that runs along the bottom of the windshield. Found a cut vacuum line and a cut water hose for the windshield washer, saving those for another day. Cross your fingers, here goes, and no code, plenty of boost, plenty of power at WOT. I got lucky. BTW, the squirrels did this in 5 days.
I would like to find a way to keep the squirrels out of my engines. My daily driver parked at 900 pm with the hood up will show signs of squirrels, sticks, leaves and pine needles at 600 in the morning. If I poison the squirrels, they will poison the coyotes and bobcats, and I could go to jail. Has anybody dealt with this?
Yes. Red Fox Urine (not much needed) placed under the hood works the best for me. Dealt with this 7-8 years ago and tried quite a few things.
Good hunting cover scent also.
