Here's one for the court...Yesterday I visited the local Safeway and as I was leaving, the vehicles on the street in front of the egress from the store were slowly queuing up for the light at the intersection. I was at the head of the line to exit and I did my usual semi-aggressive, creeping, approach to such things so that most reasonable, thoughtful, folks will stop and let me make my left turn which will not impact them at all. This young, cute thing in an imported, small, something, proceeded to intentionally block my exit. She did not make me angry (I'm too old for that) but I thought it would be "sociable" for me to touch the horn and maybe shock her out of her orbit a little in my big bad truck (to at least make eye contact). No matter how I tried to activate the horn it would not work. I tried multiple times hitting all over the horn button, with no results. Upon getting home, the horn worked fine. Could it be that because my SD was real close to hers that it did not work? Thoughts!...
Your truck was being courteous and not allowing you to yell at clouds or shoo people from your lawn......
Personally I liked to howl at the moon during my wild times...However, regarding the horn, maybe it was just me wanting to show my horn off in such a delicious moment that I just lost all sense of reason and didn't "hit it right"? It seems to work perfectly now and I shall just remain puzzled. If anyone has something to add, please do, these times we live in are challenging enough to think that Ford has developed a quiet zone for horns...
