What do you mean by soak? I have changed my sensors and put a new oil temp and new water temp sensors in. Still same deltas. I have flushed a coupled times but this time coolant looks mud brown.
Let it sit, turned off,
But, sounds like you've verified your temps already by changing the sensors.
As far as injectors I was really thinking 155/30 but the only reason I was thinking about injectors and studs was because going to be in there anyway.
Doing oil coolers and injectors does not entail removing heads. Removing the heads and doing studs and HGs involves a cab lift of motor out the front. That's much more involved that simply pulling the valve covers for injectors and pulling the intake for the oil cooler. Three different jobs, really. The only thing they have in common is you pull the turbo and intake on oil cooler and HGs. Not on injectors.
I know people have done Studs one at a time without doing HGs. Maybe there's nothing wrong with that, but I just couldn't do it on a good running engine.
