You were right something did break. I think a lot of stuff broke in it. I finally had a chance to get under it today and there was transmission fluid all up under there. I found somebody that said they would rebuild it and upgrade it if I brought the transmission to him for 3000. Does that seam like a fair price? Is it possible to remove the transmission without lifting the truck?

It may be possible...depending on how high the ground clearance is under your truck......but it isn't going to be nearly as much fun as if it was lifted high enough to stand under it.

what’s gonna be even more fun is that my driveway is a hill. I’m not looking forward to this. When should I flush it? Right before I remove it? How do I flush it? Never done a flush before.

I assume you intend to continue towing that 15k lb, 40+ ft, trailer. If so, you might consider what upgrades would be needed to do that reliably.
Also, I wouldn't consider either of your tunes / tuners safe going forward, but there are people here that are WAY more knowledgeable on that than I am.

I would recommend doing some searches and maybe even start a new thread about upgrades that would make sense.

A few others I can't recall at the moment

I've seen a few members speak highly of Harbor Freight's big transmission jack. Pretty sure this is the one:
