Wrong in that an XLT comes standard with Blis and backup sensors. My 2024 did not come with them and I didn't order them. They probably come in the option packages. But not as a XLT base model.
Second I meant the lane system that shook the steering wheel when nearing or at the lane lines your in. I had it shut off for 150k until I offed the 2019 truck. And I had adaptive steering in the 2019.

With how much standard equipment these trucks now come with, I'm surprised XLT still doesn't come standard with that stuff. I guess that's good for some buyers, like yourself.

My 2019 Lariat w/Ultimate pkg doesn't have the lane keep alert, but if it did, I would also have it turned off full time. My '19 also has the AS, but it wasn't a standard feature of the Lariat. In other words, the Lariat back then could be ordered without AS, without lane keep alert, and even without the remote release tailgate.

I need to find a regular tailgate for my truck with a handle on it. I hate the electronic push button release. I’m just waiting for it to cause me issues in the future…

You guys are getting off easy!
If I let my truck sit unlocked, in the garage overnight, I actually have to push my tailgate bubble button THREE times!
Once to seemingly "wake-up" the electronics and then twice to open.
If I open a door first or have used the key fob, then just two pushes.

My 2024 xlt has a manual and like I said I love it vs the power gate I had in my 2019. But it does have the electric locking when doors are locked. But at least I don't have the release button.
They should of designed the gate with both features. Handle and button for those who prefer either.
