evolution vs creation

lots of people argue evolution vs creation, but I say they can both be true

OK here goes
creation says god created all life
evolution says life started out simple, and grew more complicated
if god created everything, wouldn't he prolly start simple, and create maybe a one celled organism, then take the lessons learned there and create a two celled organism, then move on to a four celled organism, and so on and so on, until he had created life as we know it
Darwin upon investigating this saw a progression
if you look at ford pickups from 1948 to present you can also see a logical progression, however we know that ford trucks are created by men and they don't just evolve on their own

any thoughts?

I agree, evolution cannot be argued against, in the 150 of looking at insects evolution is proven.. Still can't explain creation though.

why did god have to create a one celled organism even? coulnd he have just spawned the expansion of a tiny in size, very dense ball (if you must call it that) of hydrogen that created stars, and ultimately every element in the universe. over several billion years compunds form, and voila, amino acids!

since he is god, it could have always been in his plan that we would "evolve" from this amino acid goo....

so in effect, both theories could very well be correct.+

Off your topic, but I would call it deevolution. Give me a '55 or older truck any day.
Of course nobody has ever called me normal.

Ah Darwin...it's funny though...just before he died he denounced his theories of evolution and gave his life to Christ. Eventually, I think he realized something...

When people ask me what I believe, I tell them God created evolution. That's why it's selective.

On a Darwin note, all things were created from lesser life forms. Thus Eve was created from Adam...;-P

God created Adam and Eve and if he used evolution to do it then that's fine by me!

My question: If there is a "god", does that mean there really is a devil?

To say that God created a single cell organisem, learned from it and moved on is maybe not correct since time does not exist for God. Everything, past, present, and future is current for Him/Her/It.

I still feel that God's existance is proved by man's theory of entropy. If that theory was correct then evolution could not take place.

Also remember that with God, All things are possible. So to set limits on Him is an attempt to define or limit His power. Which is not possible because He is God and has limitless power. That is not to say that He squanders it recklessly by breaking the rules of the universe as they exist today by doing miracles for those who wish to test Him.

I believe in evolution. Here is my proof. I used to just see chrome fish on the cars of the publicly pious, now many have seemingly evolved into lawyer sharks and Darwin fishes and all manner of cute chrome icons. There it is in chrome for all to see.

Try being a Biology major in a religious univeristy and ask the professor about the theory of evolution. They shoot back and state that it is not a law.

I personally agree that both can be true, becuase you have to belive in something. just my opinion

evolution vs creation
Actually they are linked. God started the universe, set it into motion to create us over time. Why? Because if he just up and created us and the world is only 7000 years old(or what ever a particular religon says) his mark, hand print, or touch would be highly evident. He also wants us to grow older and more mature as his childeren so he dosen't have to hand down the same type of rules he did early on. If you think about it, he wanted us to find the dinosuars and to ask why. What parent enjoys his childeren remaining so immature that they have to continue to lead them around by the hand. Will we ever be in his league as our species matures? Nope, but don't you think he smiles knowingly as he sees evidence of us moving from primatives wearing furs to exploring space and all the good we have done in between? And does he not sorrow because we can not get beyond fighting for resources and land, when he gave us his creation the universe to move into?
