Noboby in the Bible was white in the way we think of it although most were caucasion by today's definition. There are only three true races and if your not one of the other two you must be the remaining one. Australian aborigines are considered caucasian
as are polynesians and Indians from India. Native Americans fall in the same group as the Japanese. Only sub-Saharan Africans are Negroid although there is debate as to the original Egyptians.

here's another thought
sometimes in the bible one unit of time is written to mean another
years instead of months, etc.

If we are all related to Adam and Eve that means some serious incest!

We have survived because of What If. What if I threw a rock instead of jumping on a beast to kill it. What if I made this motor and attached it to my wagon. What if I built a shelter out of stone/wood instead of animal hide. Imagination is what has propeled us to where we are now and will take us into the future. However at this point in our develpoment we are in danger of stagnation. And unfortunately the government is impeding our growth.
Just to add a little clairity, you just described "adaptation" which has been observed by scientists for many centuries. Evolution still has not been verified.

You should print this out and stick it in a drawer somewhere.

10 or 15 years from now, after you've gained an understanding of both sides and you read it again, you may be surprised at how your thoughts on the subject have changed, or at least "evolved".

I God created man in his own likeness, what was his likeness? It may not even be the human race. I couldn't tell you what I believe. My whole life I was taught that God created everything, but now i'm not so sure that is the way it happenend. :dunno:

interesting,
if there is only one god, and he created man in his likeness, why don't we all look alike?

Likeness may not mean physical, and most likely means spiritual likeness.. And if it does mean physical, are we all that different. I mean we are all bipedal with the same basic form, opposing digits and all that.

We can all sit around and exercise our Little imagination(s) and play the "What If" game. In the scheme of things important it really doesn't make a Tinkers Damn , one way or the other. Who cares what happened 14 billion years ago or a million years ago for that matter. We need to manage our current situation and try to solve our problems and then maybe try to help the rest of the world with their problems. For instance , the 11 million children whose parents have AIDS in Africa. Our media bemoans the fact that the Children of america are TOO FAT. And , then they tell us that there are millions of Starving people around the globe. WE , really, don't have any problems , other than we all sit around BITCH about things inconsequential. We , are our brothers KEEPER , just by the very fact that we are who we are and that we have what we HAVE. Our Largesse , Demands that WE , as a Nation, help those who , far whatever reason, cannot seem to help themselves(Africa)...........s.kuteman

I could care less about other countries for now. We have huge problems in the US that we need to fix before we fix aids in africa. If we keep helping everyone else and not ourselves there won't be a US anymore to help anyone.

BTW - what does this have to do with evolution vs. creation?
