Well I have been getting eratic ebp readings while driving and with KOEO, 1+ psi difference from map and baro, so I decided to replace sensor and clean tube. (I did spray it down with blaster for a couple days 1st before trying to remove). Sensor stem broke in bracket. This will be the 1st time it has been removed. Has anyone had luck getting the stem out of bracket? Do I just need to order a new bracket?
Looking at bracket plate , I noticed what looked like RTV? Is there something that will leak out when I remove it? Just want to be sure before I continue with repair,
If you don't already have the easy out or drill and tap then probably just as well to replace. No nothing will come running, spraying or falling out when the cover is removed.
Replacing bracket would be easiest. They are available new, I likely have a decent one laying around if you want used
I already figured I probably need the bracket replaced, so I have one ordered, but thanks for the offer.

I did try a couple different easy outs I had, but brass was just too soft to work, I think I was bending the bracket a little also trying to get it out,
Should I put a little anti seize on threads of sensor or tube to make life a little easier later if I have to ever remove again?
If it's rated for high enough temp, then it can't hurt. Truthfully though it shouldn't really be that tight to begin with. Unless you're sled pulling or some other race application 90+% of the time it's only holding 10# or less over atmospheric. No need to get crazy stupid tight w/ those numbers.
If you happen to have a 1/8 npt tap rolling around in the toolbox you can drill out what's left of the sensor, then chase out the threads w/ the tap. If all goes well you have a spare for just in case or to bail a buddy out of a bind. If it doesn't no harm no foul. It's already screwed up not like I can make it worse, that's the philosophy I live by anyway.
I went with the upgrade. Looks pretty solid, but I'll see better when it gets here. It also looks like it won't really be an issue to remove at a later time if needed
