Header advice please

Actually, my comment was not based on what you said. I have seen comments in other threads and elsewhere commenting on the closeness of the starter or hitting it and having to go to a different starter. Sorry if seemed like I was singling your comments out. And as for failure, I didn’t even catch that your starter failed. My idea was simply based on the simple fact that heat mixed with electrical components equals shorter life spans.

Honestly, I think the photos showing how close it is affected me more than anything I read.

My swap meet, (2yrs no leak) bbk has no egr, but I can drill and weld in nipple(one day), and fleabay, has had MAC, Bassani equal length shorties, for sale from time to time, that fit our 5.8L
