Summitt Racing Headers

I have been considering putting headers on my truck since I have a cracked manifold.

I have seen the Summitt Racing brand headers that fit my truck for $159.99

Does anyone have experience with these headers?

For any truck 90 and newer, i would recommend either Gibson or Bassani headers. Hookers Elite headers seem to work well with newer trucks too, but your not going to be able to connect to your stock y-pipe like you will with either Gibson or Bassani shorty headers.

By the way, what truck do you have....

You get what you pay for.

Summit racing headers can be crap. You might want to do a search for 'summit header' in this forum. Their "qualities" have been talked about many times. You should save some change, and buy a quality set of headers once. The Summit's will probably be more of a headache in the long run than you want.

i've had good luck with edelbrock shorty headers. they are an equal length header and bolt right up to your stock exhaust.

Don't count Ford racing out, they make great headers that bolt right up to your existing y-pipe. I've had mine for a year and half and they look like the day I put them on. They make a nice power increase if you are running a good aftermarket exhaust sytem. Don't skimp on headers or gaskets or you will regret ever putting them on.
