it reads 0.00 when key off. Yes it reads OL when key on engine off and takes a second but fires up and runs while still reading OL I’m supposed to be reading the bottom pin closest to the drive side correct? I have a 4 pin ficm not 7 pin also

Doesn't whatever you are pulling codes with also retrieve the FICM voltage data from the PCM?

No it’s a really ****ty one and only reads codes and simple live data like temps and stuff. I put another ficm in that I know is good and not all the injectors are clicking and it still is reading OL

You really need ForScan or Torque Pro - $40 for Torque Pro, depending on the adapter, ForScan Lite can be had for around that also.

I do not understand why people struggle to troubleshoot these 6.0L's with poor diagnostic tools. It typically/quickly can cost them more than the tool.

Do I have to have a specific scanner to plug into or can I connect it the one I have?

They are downloads to smartphones. You then need a wireless adapter to communicate with the phone - WiFi or BlueTooth.

Windows laptops can run the full version of ForScan and a OBDII to USB adapter is needed for that.

I replaced my ficm with one I know is good and it’s still reading OL and not wanting to even start my truck now it just cranks so could it be the wires that power the ficm? Or bad injectors? If anyone is a wiring diagram as to what wires power the ficm I can take a look and see if there good. So far I know it’s getting 12v to the ficm fuse but don’t know where to go from there.I’ve also got the FORScan coming in but it will be Wednesday before it gets here

Use your scan tool to check the outputs that DTR shows you need.

So my FORScan finally came in. I got brand new batteries and hooked it all up and the truck cranks over but doesn’t want to start. I don’t hear all the injectors clicking but I’d guess at least 6-7 are. Here are the pressures of all the important things, I don’t see anything wrong with the pressures and I’m not sure why it’s not wanting to start now
