It worked out I got the switch together and in. I have power to everything but I still don’t have interior lights. I do believe it’s the LED lights because I have 12v to them. Gonna get some new ones ordered and go from there

A lot of the replacement led lights have to be installed a certain way for them to work. The ones that can be installed either way. I've had that problem with interior leds and cluster leds. Won't work one way turn them around and they work fine.

I did go and flip them in the holder and swap the front with the rear and flip that one too. No change.
I grabbed a light outa my Wife’s car to see if I had power to the dome lights and they have constant power. Key off, door shut, and light switch off I still have power to the lights. I also have power to my headlights when I just have the running lights selected on the switch. I’m not sure if I crossed some wires on the switch or if this has something to do with the jerry rigging of the PO. I don’t ever do wiring so I’m a bit confused.
Sounds like there was more "jackassery" going on with the PO and his wiring skills. You are going to have to trace the circuits through the truck until you find something that looks like a drunk toddler spliced it or put it together and fix it. I would say start at the headlights and work your way back toward the harness. Then, open up the dome light and look for anything obvious between the headliner and the cab roof. Then, look further back into the dash where the headlight switch is at and see if you can identify any gremlin homes.
Sorry for your trouble, you will find the issue eventually.
If it were just the dome light, I would say maybe the dimmer switch (also dome light switch) was acting up, but the headlights being on when the parking lights are only supposed to be on is not right.

I think I found the issue for the headlights being on with the Running Lights being on. PO spliced a Brown wire in with a Tan and White Wire on the backside of the dash. Undid it and found the rest of the brown wire he cut off. Now there’s 2 brown wires running to the switch. One goes to pin 11 and the other goes to pin 14. Confused on with one goes where. I also have 2 Black and Pink wires that I have no idea where one goes. The pin out sheet I used only has one spot for it and that’s pin 9 on the same connector as the 2 listed above.

Pin 11 and 14 of which connector? Neither of the connectors above have a pin 11 or 14, so I am a bit confused.
The two brown wires should be a bit different, unless they are part of the same circuit and are to be spliced back together. One should have a trace (line down one side) color like orange, red, white, black, etc...

The Grey connector it says in this sheet. And the brown wires are practically identical. There’s no stripes on them at all.

OK, now we are talking...
Can you use a multimeter or 12v test light to identify the brown "BN" wire that goes to pin 11? It says "Power HOT in Park or Head". Put the truck in Park and see which of the brown wires have 12v power. That is the one that goes to pin 11.

Got called to go go help a buddy that wrecked his SxS. Had to run him and his group to the hospital then go back out with a trailer. Haven’t had a chance to tear into it yet, should be able to tear into it tonight if everything works over the way it should.

Everyone is okay, couple lumps and bruises but nothing major. Wanted them checked out just in case. I took the dash apart and was able to tear into it and find that pin the wires for pin 10 & 12 and 19 & 15 were spliced together behind the loom, got them disconnected and cleaned up and plugged back in and IT WORKED!! I also found some not so awesome wiring artifacts from the PO. Had some random wires for power ran off a constant hot for the Pyro and Boost gauges. Also looks like he got impatient and instead of disconnecting the 4x4 wires he just cut them to pull the dash I guess. Got those reconnected properly with bullet connectors ( all I have on hand atm) and heat shrink and now my 4x4 works.
May as well use this thread to keep things simple as I’m still learning about this truck.
I’m in the market for a tuner for the S/D, I have a Hydra on my OBS and I love it. But I’ve been looking at the DP F6 I think it’s called, and seen some of the tunes it has like the EBPV used as an Engine break and Closed for faster warm up at High Idle, also the Performance tunes they have that don’t throw the typical CEL’s like I get on the Edge. Just wondering what the overall consensus is on Chips right now.
Thanks in advance!!
