Just a word of caution going forward, the 7.3L is notoriously picky about only using Motorcraft or International sensors and vavles like CPS, ICP, IPR, etc. If you need to get an aftermarket sensor to get back on the road, go for it. Just know that the 7.3L may be upset about it at some point in the future.
And never use starter fluid on a 7.3 lol.
Thanks for the advice. I'm going replacing everything with oem if I'm not sure where it came from.

Starter fluid is OK... Just no blinker fluid...

Enjoy the 7.3L and stick around!

I figured it was a bad ipr. I've had 2 fail on me. Wouldn't be a bad idea to get another one or a known good used one to keep as a spare along with a cps. Smart to keep both of those on hand. You can get by with a bad icp by just unplugging it for the time being. But that don't work on the others.

That’s great news! So glad you got it going. Sorry we sent you around in circles for a bit.

It might be worth taking your old one apart and give it a good cleaning. Get a little insight about how it works and maybe salvage it for a spare. Here's a couple videos showing how they come apart and what to expect inside.

This explains the process pretty well.

This one goes deeper for a full teardown.
