?? heater hose valve ??
Im wondering if you dont have a vacuum line hooked up to the heater valve will it let water flow or does it not flow ...also where would the vaccum hose that goes to the valve come from ...like for instance from the firewall ..?? i have 1 big hose and a small hose that come out of the firewall but the small hose doesnt have any vaccum when i switch the selector in the cab ...and ideas..

No vacuum should default to "open". Unless the valve is stuck.
The vacuum hose routing I'm not sure about. I'd guess the larger hose going through the firewall should be connected to the "coffee" can (supply) and the smaller one to the heater valve.
