Steering column lever spring
Hello, my lever on 89 f350 460 won’t come out of park. Took the column apart nothing broken.
Column diagram says there is a spring for the lever?
can I replace? How? Or do I need a new steering column?

Won't come out of park even with the linkage disconnected under the hood? You need to nail down is it the column or the transmission that is stuck.

there is a little tab on the ignition actuator that breaks off and wedges in the shifter interlock that will prevent the shifter from moving.
