I'm working on a 2020 f350 6.7l, with a family member who ran it dry. We put in a diesel to to give it a quarter tank. Replaced the fuel filters to see the condition and hope it would help it start. When I check the pressures for the high at KOEO it reads just over 3000psi, the low side reads just over 30psi. When cranking the high side reads just over 5000psi and low side at around 73 psi. We were able to start it for a few seconds before it cut out and haven't been able to get it to completely start. We've visually checked fuel flow to the HPFP and it is present. I don't believe it the HPFP that has gone bad with just under 45000 miles. P2291 is pending and a P0087 is permanent because a roadside service guy loosened the line fitting to two injectors and didn't tighten them up. I checked all line fitting for tightness to be sure none are loose. Any ideas where or what to check before taking the intakes off to check the HPFP?
Key on and key off for several times to purge air.
Turn the key to on and hear the fuel pump running? let it run till it shuts off. If you hear gurgling, continue to cycle without attempting a start. At least 6 times before attempting.
I would suggest completely disconnecting the batteries, both at the same time and leaving them disconnected until fully charged.

I have purged till batteries have gone low 3 times and each time I have recharged the batteries. The intank pump has been whining since it first started and died, but still have pressure at the bowl filter by the engine. And currently have the batteries charging again.
