Yes I can tomorrow for you

The material is firmer than the worn out stock bushings... no idea how they compare to new stock bushings.

I finished everything up today, and took it for a drive. The ride is better, more isolated from the road, but it is still a truck on stiff springs. What surprised me, is that the chassis feels stiffer, less twisty. I guess I didn't realize how sloppy it had become over the years, because it felt nice to drive today.

For my core support bushings, I tack welded a flat bar to the top and used that to hold it while using an impact wrench on the bottom. Took some back and forth, but they eventually came out. This is with the core removed.

Honestly, the easiest way I know of doing them is to use a floor jack and a big stack of blocks. Just jack the cab up and remove the bushings with out having to fight them too much!

Did you use the stock hardware with the poly bushings? I thought the poly just used sleeves and flat washers.

Thought I would post an update from my install. There wasn't any bushing left on radiator support and very little of the second one back. Rear of cab wasn't too bad and may have been replaced before I bought the truck. To be fair I've been a mechanic for over 40 years and have quite a few tools. The whole job start to finish was 2.5 hours, but the removal tool that come's with the S&B kit is definitely a big help in removal. I had no idea how smooth the truck was until I installed these. While I had some time I also installed my new to me Saginaw power steering pump I got from a van. Good Lord I wish I would have done it a long time ago. Steering is so much easier and absolutely no WHINE. I am a believer

Late to this party, but any chance you got a picture of or link to the kit you used and the tool it came with? Thanks!

Expensive things them, but if they work well I think it's worth it 👍 Too bad I only need the pair under the cab's firewall, so 1/3 of the kit 🤣

They are well worth the effort to install. A little pricey but I guess with the tool to make it easier to install goes a long way. I’ll sell ya the tool😂

I ordered the kit this week. I decided I only wanted to do this once and I wanted the better ride/comfort.

Usually the core support mounts are the most difficult to remove of all of them.
yeah, that's what I found, too...
