Cab Bushing Installation?

Cab Bushing Installation?
I've got new cab bushings to install this weekend. Anyone got any tips, or nifty shortcuts to tell about? This us a job I've not done before. I understand I don't have to disconnect any hoses or wires, just need to drop the front gas tank and jack up the cab. Is that all there is? And is this a whole lot harder than it sounds?

Never done it but when I tore my '91 SC apart I torched those nuts/studs because there was no getting them apart. But we live in one of the worst areas for road salt. Impact wrench would be nice.

I did mine on my crewcab without removing anything underneath, except the bolts holding the bushings themselves. I used a floor jack and a 4x4, and blew the bolts out with my impact gun, then jacked up the cab corners an whopping 1/4", then air chiseled the old bushings out if they were stuck. Then slipped in the new ones, put the bolts through, lowered the cab, and tightened the nuts.
A breaker bar works to if you don't have an impact gun, and getting the old bushings out if they are stuck can be done with a piece of wood and a big hammer instead of an air chisel.

Tried the front bushings this weekend. Had no problem with the nuts, but the bolt would'nt slide out. I've looked at a schematic and it appears that the bolt should be easy to remove. I'm obviously missing something. What?
