I am leaving my F150 for a larger truck because of payload capacity. The truck I currently have on order is an 2022 F250 CCSB Lariat Ultimate 7.3 3.55, and I suppose I am a little concerned that it’s payload capacity may not be as high as I hope.
Does anyone have any actual payload figures for a similar truck that can either put me at ease or force me to change my order?
F150 payload is 1689lbs and I was hoping for north of 2500lbs and closer to 3000 lbs in a F250.
2022 f250 sbcc Lariat Value with black appearance package. 9900lb GVWR. At scale, came in at 7700lb. So 2200lb left. That is with full tank of fuel. 2 people 4 sandbags (winter weight), tonneau cover and odds and ends. Here is my door sticker.

How dare you actually weigh your truck with a normal load!! lol
From other threads the F350 Platinum is ~4100 payload. Since a Platinum is basically everything and the kitchen sink, the KR should be pretty close if not a little more depending on option package.
Thanks for the good examples so far. I do not want the sunroof, so that should help my efforts.
Any King Ranch examples? By the time I built the Lariat a similar KR is within $1k and I do like the leather upgrade.
Here is my info from my 2022 F250 King Ranch. Summary of factory options: King Ranch Ultimate package, 7.3 Gas engine, 3.55 E-locker, Sunroof, Spray-in bedliner, skid plates.

Do you have the FX4 package then? That payload is higher than I expected for a trimmed out 250… so you’re saying there’s a chance.
