Ambient air temperature sensor

How do you reset outside ambient air temperature sensor on 02 excursion 7.3 powerstroke already replaced sensor still reads 50 degrees no matter what the outside air temp is tried disconnecting batteries , pressing the ac and recirculating button didn't work

probably means there is a disconnect somewhere, maybe a short or a loose wire.

do you have the air temp in the HVAC and the overhead console? only one of those will actually work if you have both, usually the HVAC.

I have had that same issue and even sent the upper display off for rebuild...and still have the issue after replacing the sensor behind the grill on the driver side...
