Thank you. I'm not sure what you call larger roller bearings on the sector shaft, are these rollers rather then bushings like the smaller boxes on the two wheel trucks?

So,
The problem was I put the horn button clocked over and didn’t notice it till after the round about. I did communicate with a local steering box company (the owner has been to my place to buy a truck) and he said that none of the obvious was present. So we agreed that I had just clocked the horn button wrong 120*. I pulled the horn button and noticed a notched.

The steering box is different from the 2wd and it is very expensive to rebuild. He said parts would behave to be sourced from another country, and they would also have to forge parts together to make it all work. He stated $600.00 for a rebuild.

he did state that the steering box would not be tight like mine is if it was having problems.

FYI, Dennis Carpenter has a steering rebuild kit for 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton 2WD’s. Includes sector roller, shaft worm, roller bearings, sector bushings, gasket kit. Would need a machine shop to press on the worm on steering shaft and install roller on sector.
