I’m wanting to get it or the Naviks now that I have my fifth wheel trailer camera set up. Nav-TV website still saying out of stock, and it’s like $150 more than Naviks. But the demo video on Naviks website seems like their module is a lot slower than the Nav-TV
If you're interested, I have (2) Naviks units / used
I've upgraded my F450 (from '22 to '23) and no longer use these
The tailgate camera can be on while you are in drive, my 23 XLT has done this on its own several times. How it has done it is unknown. I have tried numerous times to repeat this glitch and I have not been able to replicate it. Each time I have seen this the truck was not in reverse at all after key start. The camera came on and would stay on with no way of turning it off, or using the screen for anything else, except stopping the truck and putting it in park. I do not have the 360 degree camera option.

Reason: Added screen info.

@ZooDad Is there another thread or instructions on how to enable this that I may have missed? I have a 22 with only a backup camera and now have a canopy without a rear window. I'd really love to use the factory camera in motion to check on my hitch mounted dirt bike or mountain bikes.

Many thanks and kind regards.

I’m in the same boat, ‘22 with only tailgate camera and would love to know how to enable it at speed.
I've been trying to get help with this for two years. I thought I had it figured out but forscan won and I didn't prevail. Need an experts assistance. If anyone makes progress, please ping me! My canopy doesn't have a rear window and my wife might start loving me if she could see cars behind her while driving. 😁

I was trying this quite some time ago and I don't know that anyone ever did hit upon the answer with just using FORScan, although ZooDad was working on it at the time. When I had a 2022 I ended up buying a module from 4dTech that enabled the CHMSL camera to operate at any speed. Just that one camera though, not the tailgate cam.
I've since bought a 2023 with 360 cameras and I can operate the rear cameras at any speed from the factory.
