I am going to take a run at trying to identify the changes necessary to enable rear camera in motion that has been seen on some '21 and '22.
I need members that are familiar with ForScan As Built saving and backing up modules.
Unfortunately I do not have the time to walk someone through some of the basics of how to fully use ForScan.
Once Beta testing, any adjustments made I will post up for all to use.
I will update the post when I have testers.
I would like to have at least 5 of 21 and 22 that have confirmed camera in motion and an additional 5 of '20 and 21 that can not have camera in motion.
If you are interested in testing this please shoot me a PM. Please include the following information in the PM
Year and trim of truck
360 camera
360 Ultimate tow package
I posted the screenshot below on a different thread. It's from an F 150 thing linked by BMan FX4. I asked if anyone had success doing this on a Super Duty and no one answered. Is this what you're looking to do?
I bought a module from 4dtech and I do have the CHMSL camera operating at any speed but the tailgate camera still has the motion lock in place. I'd like to have both rear cameras have the ability to be viewed while under motion at any speed and to be able to toggle back & forth between the 2 cameras. I don't know if I'll ever get that but it never hurts to ask.
Unfortunately I'm sort of an illiterate when it comes to saving and backing up modules so I can't help you there. I know just enough to be a danger to myself and make the odd change here & there.

this is most likely going to need a firmware change also. I would start with the sync3 guys, see what their as built is, see if they can access the cameras at speed. if they can i would start looking at their firmware and as built data. the sync4 guys(me included) can access our cameras at speed. the only one i cant get at speed is the split view like the F150 has now.

Mine is SYNC 3. I only have the 2 rear cameras, tailgate & CHMSL. Both motion locked from the factory. The 4dtech module unlocked the CHMSL cam but not the tailgate.

4dtech has a module for the 360 camera system but they can only unlock the front cameras in motion.

I don't know why but for some reason I thought the module unlocked both cams in my situation and that I could toggle back & forth between the two. That does not seem to be the case.
I will say that they responded quickly and were very helpful when the setup behind my head unit was not the same as the one in their installation video. The spot I needed to plug into was not easily visible. They sent me a couple of nice colored diagrams that led me to get the job done.
I have sync 4 (2022 F250 Lariat) with the CHSML camera and I can not access the camera view while in motion. Get a "for your safety blah blah blah" message.

When I checked on this prior the firmware, part numbers and strategies were all the same.
Those are some of the variables I will be comparing
Any idea if this may be doable on an XLT that only has the tailgate backup camera, or just for the higher level trims? (I realize you may not know yet?)
