Would be nice to be able to press a button and have the tailgate cam come on while driving. I don't have the 360 cam option
I bought a module that allows me to do that with the CHMSL. But that's all it does and it was expensive for just that one function. It came from 4dtech. Not sure if they have anything to do that with the tailgate cam or not.
Somewhere in this lengthy thread I think you'll find that some FORScan changes have been tried but were unsuccessful to to what you're looking to do.
I am working on getting data to figure out what is the different between some of the 2020-2021 Super-Duty F350. Some have the ability to see the bed camera while driving. I think that I have narrowed it down to a couple modules but need more data. Thus far I think it is tied to the sensor for Adaptive Cruise Control being installed and if you have the 360 camera package. I have the 360 cameras and UTT, but my vehicle does not have the Adaptive Cruise Control module installed. Can anybody confirm that they have ability to see their bed camera at speed that does not have this module so I can rule it out?
Not sure if this will help your research - I have a 2022 F-250 with 360 cameras and initially no adaptive cruise control but I have always had the bed camera while in motion. I have since added adaptive cruise and still have the bed camera while in motion. My research of ACC would lead me to think it would have zero effect on the bed camera. However the ACC does interact with the IPMA for the collision warning using the top camera over the mirror and the IPMA might have some effect on the bed camera in motion.
Not that I have any experience with trying this but my NAV-TV 50 unit interrupts the GPS signal to fool the truck into thinking it is not moving - allowing me to cycle views through the cameras while in motion.
Maybe there is something tied into the GPS programming?

If it helps, my 2022 has 360 with adaptive cruise and has the ability to see the bed, tailgate or hitch cam in motion.
Thanks for the replies, I have looked into the NAV-TV, but I don't like the loss of navigation and the speed limit signs. Buckeye-SD is your 2022 a sync 3 or 4? I'm really looking for a 2020 or 2021, that has the 360-camera package and UTT trailer package, without adaptive cruise, and their cameras work in motion. (if this exists). thanks for all the help.

I have done a bunch of data comparisons against trucks that work and don’t
20’s don’t work (but yet)
some 21’s do.
I have the nav-tv I don’t miss the speed limit signs or gps pause. I use mobile navigation
i really like the turn signal mirror activation when towing. I can also access any of the cameras (including trailer and aux) when needed.

ZooDad
ZooDad,
How old is your Nav-TV unit?
I’m wanting to get it or the Naviks now that I have my fifth wheel trailer camera set up. Nav-TV website still saying out of stock, and it’s like $150 more than Naviks. But the demo video on Naviks website seems like their module is a lot slower than the Nav-TV
