Hey guys I’m new to the forum but I’m genuinely stuck. So our truck had been having problems with rough starts for a while it had a glow plug code but we figured since were in Georgia it would be fine so we left it. Well yesterday I get home and turn it off later that evening I go to leave the house and it doesn’t start, cranks but no start. I checked the fuel pump fuse under the dash and then I made sure that both filter caps were tightened down right still nothing. I take the batteries to get charged and tested and all good so this morning I get to really looking at it I made sure that there was fuel coming into the second fuel filter bowl and there was. What was strange was the fuse was burnt this morning so I switched it and that’s when I got fuel to the bowl, before that I did not. Not sure if it was because it had enough power in the batteries or what but I put the fuel filter back on start the truck and all seems well now. I drive it to the auto parts store to get some fuses haut in case I may need them and some fuel treatment and when I go to leave no start. What could be the cause of this? I had just started it at the house maybe 30 minutes before then, the guy came out and checked my battery and they were at 30 percent I assume from me trying to crank it: it stills cranks but no start I’m just real frustrated now and I don’t have a scan tool I’m ordering one tonight but the only thing I can think is maybe something else is messed up. It has a new GPCM on it aswell. Any help would be greatly appreciate, god bless.
How about starting with telling us what it is your are driving?
Year model?
If it is an 04, then you need to tell us where the ICP sensor is located.
F Series, E series or Excursion?
Any modifications?
Any recent work other than the GPCM?
Oil level not low and not high either?
Also, tell us the fuse number that was blown ..............
The scan tools that are good, and also inexpensive, are the ones that download to smartphones (Torque Pro and ForScan).
Get the battery issues nailed down first and proceed from there.

I apologize it is an 06 F250, no recent work besides the fuel filters before I went to texas but that was 3 months ago, oil level is good. The fuse in question was number 40 in the panel under the steering wheel.
You need 150 rpm to reliably start. So you need a healthy electrical system (including charged batteries) AND your starter needs to be healthy (as a good place to begin). This assumes that the blown fuse is a fluke and you are still getting fuel to the upper filter with the key on (ie don't need to crank to check it).

so I took off the wire on the passenger side set the key to om and touched the battery terminal it fired right up and is all good from what it seems like u haven’t turned it off again yet. What do I do now what could it be?
Starts when cold, but won’t start when hot? That could indicate you have a leak in the high pressure oil system powering your injectors.
Get a monitoring/ code reading tool like Forscan app and a wifi adapter to plug into the obd port
