Has anyone downloaded the flyobd software lately? I bought a unit earlier this year, and one piece of the software it needs was flagged by my computer as being infected. I contacted them about it, but heard nothing back.
I did not download my Ford IDS clone software from that site. However, I assume that they are all the same 'clone' IDS version 120.04 being used. The file that may or may not be a virus is "IDS_Patch" dot "exe". This is the executable that you actually run to trick IDS into thinking that it is a legit copy. If you are running Windows 10 or 11, then it will get quarantines as a virus by Windows Defender. You will need to manually exclude that file from being quarantined in order to run IDS.
For this reason, I bought a cheap 'burner' laptop off FB Marketplace which has NONE of my accounts, personal info, etc. on it and is NOT connected to the internet...nor ever will be. Doing this, I don't care if it is virus or not.

Reason: It automatically changed my . e x e name to asterisks.
Good to know it isn't just me. Yeah, that's the file. I have a dedicated laptop for this kind of stuff, so just need to make sure I don't have any personal info on it and clear website info, etc.
