Help! P0863 code
Hi all, having an issue with my '02. When I have my block heater plugged in, and I unplug it, then go to start my truck (after waiting for the glow plug light to turn off), my check engine light stays on with a P0863 code. why is this? It only happens if i use the block heater. It didn't used to do this a couple years back, when using the block heater. Not sure why it's happening now, or the cause?

Do you mean P0683? Might be your GPCM is going bad. I'm not sure why the block heater would affect this though. Take a look at this thread.
