The '88 has an Eaton clutch type from late 90s I installed that was the better unit over the TracLok. 400lb preload springs, forged gears, carbon fiber gears. Nice piece!
I own both a d60 rear,many d44 fronts, np205 and np203, and could get a sterling axle from my dad if i put a 14 bolt under his 80s f250 trailer for him. maybe one day I should make a oober inefficient np205/203 doubled f150 with the most unecessary overkill axles possible for the sake of being special.
that would be bad gas mileage... esp with 4.9 and a who knows what trans, c6 prob custom work all over. Oh boy that sounds spic
