I use Stanadyne’s additive in a 6.5L GM diesel I have that has a Stanadyne fuel pump. I figure they made the pump they should have an idea how to keep it lubed.
I have tried several different brands in my 6.7L and haven’t noticed any performance or mileage differences with any of them. My average miles between regens have also stayed the same.
