So come to find out that Ford, in it's infinite wisdom, changed the IPR connector without even telling it's parts people. The connector on the IPR changed and they changed the pigtail. Imagine that!
Hasn't there been two types of IPR connectors and pigtails available for quite some time? I "think" I remember this from years ago when I sent a wire clip style pigtail to someone attempting to dead head their HPOP and needed the pigtail to close the IPR.
Doing a bit more "light" research I found the following...

I am sure you need an F81Z9C968AB but if you want to make sure pull your pump and post up a picture of the front of your pump mounting surface and we can just by referencing it.
Ford hasn't changed the IPR, but the did update the pigtail to the more secure attachment style about 10 years ago. My bet is that it is a counterfeit IPR sensor. The best way to get good parts is to buy directly from Ford and pay high prices or use a Reputable shop like @Riffraff Performance that only sells genuine parts. Here are some links to the new and the old pigtails, as well as to the ICP and IPR. Stay away from places like Amazon, eBay and Prosource if you want genuine parts.
