Trying to start with the IPR unplugged is a waste of time. Actually probably worse than a waste of time. The engine won't start and you will get codes that might mis-lead you.
Cranking with the crank sensor unplugged will most definitely throw the P0335 code.
Both P0611 and P1378 point pretty heavily at the FICM internals. Do you possibly have a spare FICM to run for a while?
For some reason Auto Enginuity can do some funny things. I like ForScan much better.
There very well may be a leak in the HPO system. Even so, the main objective is to make sure the engine starts and doesn't die. From the data I have seen posted, I don't see the no-start being with the HPO system. JMHO.
Hum.... Gosh, I would hope there is not a leak in the HPO system. Everything is new. I was careful with reinstalling the oil logs. It has the updated dummy plugs and stand pipes. It has been starting right away when hot. I wonder if the ICP sensor is going bad?
The only thing to hint at a problem was Monday morning when I had that 15 second crank to start cold. The rest of the day it was normal. Then Tuesday it would not start at all. Nor would it start yesterday. The only thing I did this morning was re-install the crank sensor, check fuses and relays, and checked the LPO system. I did change the crank sensor pigtail last winter when I did the top end. All connections were soldered and heat shrinked. B.
IMO worrying about a leak is not necessary at this point. I base that on your first post where it wouldn't start with acceptable ICP pressure and sensor voltage.
Your data: ICP PSI 1480-1680 during cranking ICPR % bounces around between 14 and 66 during cranking ICPV is steady at 1.4V during cranking.
The ICP volts are off a little from the typical voltage/pressure correlation, but still I would think it was sufficient for a start.
An important PID to watch when you have a no-start is the Injector Pulse Width. If the FICM is working, you should have a cranking value for that PID.
Well, I down loaded Forscan to my laptop. But, the AE adapter is not compatible. So I had to order an adapter and it will be here in one or two weeks. Jesus. B.
Bruce I sent you a PM, but figured I should also put the link to an Adapter that I Know works with Forscan (in all modes), and is available delivered to me by the 22nd, and I'm an hour east of Sacto...
