Ordered my truck with this option to simply save money on the tags and registration here in the peoples republic of MD.
Just wanted to confirm that my truck will still have all the same hardware as the standard F350 SRW with the higher GVWR.
This option is just a lower rating on the sticker, correct?

Yes and no. It won't come with hydro boosted brakes.

Yes..... Ford has them on a certain gvw and higher.

 

I may have to change my order then. I'm surprised there is no price difference.

 

I did not see the option for 10000 gvwr when i ordered my 350. I thought the 10k package was just for f250. For me its not about payload, just more gvwr for my trailer.

 

That's the point/question- the truck is the same (minus the brakes) - it is just a different sticker. I'll be towing heavy, but want to save money on the tags and reg.

I guess- but I saw on other threads that 12,400 is also available on F350 SRW.

 

Over 11,500 gets hydro boost under does not. What configuration are you ordering?

 

Just to be clear, even the F350 with a GVWR of 11,500 pounds does not get hydro boost either.

I did not say 11,500 and up got hydro boost . I said over 11,500 gets hydro boost.

 

I know what you meant, just want to make sure everyone else knows.
