If you're replacing the horn ring [EDIT} on your 65/66 2WD stock steering wheel or doing any work on your steering wheel, you might want to consider replacing the original soft plastic horn retainer ring with the D2TZ 13A809-B, also sold as a replacement for 65/66 Mustangs. It's made from a harder plastic and has a center ring that the horn spring sits snugly around which also adds rigidity. Otherwise it is a form/fit/functional replacement.
