Was this going on before you installed the new fuel pump? Have you tried cycling the key without removing the FPR or the filter line and see if it would start? When it dies and you cycle the key can you hear the fuel pump run? Sorry had to edit this once.
Yes it was that was the reason for new pump filter and regulator but it didn't fix it. I have tried cycling key on off several times.i even unplugged the little computer bypass with no luck.
Jas88.this is when it starts the intermittent crap.after I do the Schrader valve or fuel filter trick it runs great all day then if I shut it off it may start back and he may not.i ran it for about 1 hour trip the other day it was fine.i pulled in at the store to grab a biscuit before work Bout a mile from work. Came out the store started truck made less than 100ft started acting like it was running out of gas.i let it pull its self to work in four low cause it idled fin just couldn't give it fuel. It set for 10hrs before I tried to restart it. Just crank no start. I cycled key several times with no luck.finaly took Schrader valve out and turned key on,blowed fuel everywhere, turned key off put valve back in truck started perfect and ran great for the 1hr trip back home. Haven't messed with it since
