ive got a 1997 f350 7.3 powerstroke 2wheel drive automatic. im getting p0603-pcm processor keep alive memory (kam) error.
ive read up that i need to replace pcm but when i look to purchase a pcm it gives several different callibration codes like 7-89n or 7-90p or 6-89s or module id# DCP-203 or module id# DCP-202...
how do i figure out what i need ?? please help
I chipped my 95. I got the code before I pulled my PCM by sticking my phone between the PCM and the fender and taking a picture of the side of the PCM.
Give it a shot (or 5) and it might work for you, too.
I've seen several OBS models in the local junkyard here with PCM's that look unmolested... Depending on the yard, there may be a 30 day warranty, so the $20 for the new to you PCM isn't at risk.
