2022 Super Trailer TPMS Kit
When I ordered my 2022 F350 Platinum, I got it loaded, including the trailer TPMS and rear camera system. Now, at the time, the valve stems for the trailer were too small for the .625" holes in my 17.5" trailer wheels. So, I just installed the rear camera system (and had a real joy with running that cable all the way to the back). Now, I found a small manufacturer in AZ that produces the correct size valve stems, you just unscrew the sensor from the old valve stem and put it on the new one. Sounds easy. But, it has been a while since I installed the camera and I am trying to remember where / how to install the TPMS (trailer side) cabling. Looking at the diagram on page one of this pdf
https://www.fordservicecontent.com/F..._TPMS_Kits.pdf
It appears from the diagram that there is a connector that I may have forgotten about that the TPMS cable which goes to the module, plugs into. Is this correct? If so, I think I recall where it is, but am not 100% certain.
Finally, for a fifth wheel running Goodyear G114 tires, would you recommend installing the TPMS module "inside" the coach, above the wheels, or underneath the coach in the elements?
Thanks for the help here! My new valve stems will be here tomorrow and I have an appointment to install them on Saturday AM.
