Just picked up my 2021 F350 KR. I got the ultimalt tow package....have a package with a harness etc I guess I need to install for back up assistance etc.. I don't think I need but...is there a way way to add TMPS to my 5th wheel so I dont need to carry extra monitor...??
Kit consists of 4 wheel sensors, transmitter box you attach to your trailer, and a wiring harness from the trailer transmitter that plugs into the 12-pin on the trucks trailer electrical connection. It is a customer installed kit and available from Ford parts. Sorry, I know the option code, but not the actual part number.

Thanks! I found them here,,,,fits 35' trailers....I am screwed... lol
The 35' limitation is the wiring harness. That should be easy to extend if your trailer is longer. The TPMS receiver box is placed amidship near the axles so longer trailers won't be a problem for the sensor - receiver distance, just the harness to the front of the trailer. I would definitely lengthen the harness and not try to make up for it by placing the receiver farther from the trailer axles.

The harness you got will be the Trailer 12pin harness for the YAW sensor if you also ordered the gooseneck. This harness also has a spot on it for the TPMS. You will need the TPMS module and the sensors.
I actually prefer a TST system over Ford's offering as it has a constant scan of all tires showing not only pressure but also tire temp. Ford's "built in" option is nice, but not good enough IMO.

That is what I currently have.... was just thinking of losing a extra monitor.... but think I will keep TST....
I installed the TPMS and camera system on a 40 foot horse trailer. The camera harness had a few feet to spare however the TPMS harness was very short, the receiver module barely made it under the trailer it is about 20 feet from the closest tire. I figured I would have to extend the harness but so far it has worked flawlessly.
I have it on a 20ft trailer and had to coil up a solid 5-6 feet of spare cable by the axles.
You must have it on a bumper pull. With a goose neck or fifth wheel you lose a lot of cable to have slack for the plug in the bed of the truck, also 8-10 feet on the neck of the trail then another 4 feet or so going down to get under the trailer. I didn’t measure it but I would guess the TPMS harness is around 18 feet.
