Thank you for posting that. I think I'm still sold on the GenY/Bulletproof idea with adapter for an Equalizer shankless WDH since you still get the option for two different sized *****, which you won't get with an Equalizer shank.

This was the email I received back from Equalizer, so maybe by the end of next year they'll have a 3" available:

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us today. We originally had plans to have a 3" shank available this year in 2021, however, due to the worldwide pandemic the development of that shank has been delayed. We now hope to have a 3" shank available by the end of 2022. The exact time that it is released will depend a bit on how sales and material supply chains work out over the next few months. No information on weight ratings is available at this time.

If you have any further questions feel free to reach back out to me.

Thanks,

Daniel Hatch

Our 12K TT (41' hitch to bumper) travels at 1820lbs tongue weight, I have my spring bar screw jacks marked to where they are at the designed tension, I can go higher but have had a lower hitch head failure in the past related to pulling the spring bars up too far. Even without the perfect amount of WD being applied the ride and control are great due to the pivot point projection design of the hitch, and hitching up is pretty simple too.
Nah, the ProPride is better. lol

Had to hook up to our 31 foot, 6500 pound travel trailer to take it in for an inspection early this morning and did so without the bars, just hitch. Didn't squat it much, but apparently some as I got "flashed" by an oncoming car once. My drive included a couple of miles of 55mph. Could tell no discernible difference in feel, but that wasn't a very good test. Plus, I am aware with the WDH, some more weight is being transferred to the front, which would improve braking.
Still, kind of cool to just hook up and go. Don't think I would have tried that with its predecessor, the 2020 f150 supercrew 4x4 Lariat.

I do this when pulling from the storage yard to the house, which is about 5 miles of lumpy back roads. I have my airbags installed, just need to add the compressor and lines this weekend and I'll see if it makes a difference w/o the bars.

Too late to suggest it now, but ever consider the Roadmaster Active Suspension System. I had it on my f150 and the difference in handling (laden or not) was impressive as heck.

I've seen them before and they reminded me of an old garage door spring and bracket.

Interesting perspective. They are definitely stout and make a difference in ride and towing. Won't be ordering any for the f250 as my current trailer offers no challenges for the truck.
