The ICM is the Ignition Control Module right? I just want to make sure Im reading this right.
That is correct. It's either on the distributor or remotely mounted on the fender. I don't know on your model. See HERE
The camshaft position sensor (distributor pickup coil) is inside the distributor and has to be pressed off and on - cheaper/easier to replace disti. See HERE
If you replace the ICM and it's mounted on the disti take note of other posts regarding the heat sink paste requirements (Artic Silver recommended).

Yea it's on the fender, I've poked and prodded it before, I didn't even know this truck had a Camshaft Position Sensor, but if the CPS was bad wouldn't that throw a code?

The sensor in the distributor is a Hall Effect Sensor and is essentially a Camshaft Position Sensor. I can't talk to code generation except I had ICM issues on my '91 5.8 and I changed the ICM and they went away. No codes. Good news that yours is on the fender. If you've never replaced it go ahead as its cheap.
Here's an interesting READ although as you have a remote mounted ICM you don't have the issue of heat on the ICM. It will show you the design though.
Did you re-install the disti and set the timing yourself?

No this was all a shop doing this for me, although I just looked at the distributor and my old timing mark, from where I adjusted timing before, is WAY off, now I know it's a new engine so it probably won't have as much slop as the old one but I figured the timing would be closer than this.
That sharpie mark used to be the original timing, before I messed with it, I put it back to the original timing because It didn't fix the problem before, now with the new engine, it's still here because they re used the distributor. I'm just curious as to how the "new" timing could be so off from the "old" timing, was it all down to wear over the 320k miles?

As long as the rotor is aligned correctly with the cap/plug wire #1 when cylinder #1 is at TDC you are ok. You should check that and check the timing is set correctly. If you're not familiar with the process:
1. Make sure the rotor and cap are aligned correctly with the piston at TDC.
2. Remove spout connector, loosen bolt on distributor slightly, set at 10 BTDC. Re-connect Spout. It's well documented.
