How stiff is the frame? They did this on hot rod garage and if I remember right the bed and cab would hit from flexing. I do not have the membership to go back and watch the videos. I know Lucky really liked the truck though.
Going to cut down the bed and install it on truck. The frame is definitely not as rigid right now. But I have watched lots of videos and most people weld supports from the rear can mounts to frame above axle. Once I get bed mounted and I will weld in some cross bracing.
Made mounts for gas tank, and some crossmembers to tie the frame together. Finished welding in the cab mounts and tied them into frame. Took it for a trip around the block everything is working good.

You really knock out projects!
was it Tony and Lucky that put some rubber mounts between the cab and the bed to tie them together and keep them from rubbing?
I started integrating the truck and vic wiring, used the factory f100 inj switch and some relays. I did not want to switch all the loads with the original f100 switch. It probably would have been ok but the vic has a 30 amp fuse and multiple wires. I ran two relays controlling the inj power and the factory vic fused power supply. This way it will be able to control any of the factory vic accessories.
