Added a Painless 20 circuit bulkhead connector for the Autometer gauges I installed. Going to be using more of it next year when the EFI and trans control goes aftermarket.
what aftermarket control you got in mind? I understand these old boxes spring leaks in the capacitors making the time machine not go no mo.
Replaced my axle pivot bushings today. Followed this thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ispreloading=1
To get the one for the passenger's side axle to line up, I turned the wheels back and forth. I had the driver's side tires on half cinder blocks to level it out. It worked.
I still have a clunk. I'll probably do radius arm or sway bar bushings next. Driver's side didn't look bad. Back of the driver's side Passengers side from the back New passengers side going in New passengers side going in My shop

I honestly don't know yet. Depends on other things. I have the E4OD to contend with and deciding between multiport or throttle body. If I keep it simple then just a Sniper and a Quick Shift controller.
Parking brake cables finally. They hold.... but only when the pedal is aaaaallllll the way down. So, I guess I'll be diving back I to the drums this weekend.

I was wondering if you were looking at the Holley Terminator MAX w/ 4r70wcontrol(I believe I read it can control e4OD as well). That is plug and play but about $1900 + tax.
I changed the engine oil today on my 1996 F250, 4x4, 5.8 and zf5. I put on a new Motocraft FL-820-S as owner manual said, the previous filter was a smaller diameter. I put some fresh oil on the o-ring (and behind it) of the new filter and tightened the filter only by hand, I'll keep an eye if there end up being any leaks. The front differential makes it a challenge for access under the truck to rotate the wrench to snug the filter. With the new oil being Castrol High Mileage Synthetic Blend, I put in some STP Zinc Additive at the same time.

I noticed that having Valvoline change your oil, they use a tiny filter, here's the difference between that and the one I used when I changed it. (5.0)
Before today's oil change, Jiffy Lube had done it and I saw the same comparison about the oil filter circumference as shown in the previous photo. I was shocked by how much smaller it was, that shrinks the amount of volumetric capacity of oil that can flow through the system.
